At Illawarra Window Furnishings, we are a business that gives back. We are partnered with the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) to raise awareness and support for this admirable charity.
We have proudly provided support for Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF), by donating a percentage of the profit of each of our jobs.
In 2016, Darren, owner of IWF, travelled to Cambodia to spend time with the staff and children. He found it to be an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience.
About the cause
The Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) aspires to transform the country’s most impoverished kids into tomorrow’s leaders. They aim to do this by delivering education, family support and community development programs into the heart of Cambodia’s most impoverished communities.
Operating since 2004 around the former garbage dump at Steung Meanchey, CCF offers a range of programs. These programs focus on six core areas – Education, Leadership, Community Outreach, Healthcare, Childcare and Vocational Training. Through these interconnected programs, CCF works with families to build plans for escaping debt, educating their children, and developing job skills for parents and older children. They use a comprehensive, on-the-ground approach to develop integrated solutions to the complex issues of poverty.
More than 2,000 students are currently working towards a better future for themselves and their families through CCF’s award-winning education program.
